AdBlue is a non-toxic, colorless liquid made of 32.5% high-purity urea and 67.5% deionized water, used in diesel vehicles with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems to reduce harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by converting them into harmless nitrogen and water in the exhaust system, meeting strict emission standards like Euro 6. It's stored in a separate tank, typically with a blue filler cap, and needs to be refilled by the driver to prevent the engine from shutting down.
